At present one of our clients requires a Construction Manager to be based in the Middle East overseeing the civil construction activities on site of a fertilizer plant project.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a globally recognised engineering firm.

Candidates must be able to start by 1st October and willing to take on a 12 - 18 month contract.

Responsibilities will also include:
• Coordinate all civil engineering activities onsite including; piling and camp setup.
• Manage the contractors and subcontractors on site.
• Ensure that all Health and Safety activities are carried out to the company standards.
• Meet regularly with the end client and other external stakeholders maintaining relationships throughout the project duration.

Personal Requirements:
• A degree in Civil Engineering or similar will be looked upon favourably.
• Experience of working in the Middle East is essential, must have worked with a large engineering firm.
• Prior experience on a Fertilizer Plant will be highly advantageous, management experience on an industrial plant is essential.
• Contract negotiation experience will be advantageous but not essential.
