Our client is a major company operating abroad. We are looking for a Electro-Mechanical Commissioning Engineer (M\/F) to reinforce their organization.<\/p>\n
The Electro-Mechanical commissioning engineer shall be the focal person for the technical knowledge of the site water systems:<\/p>\n
| Responsible for the pre-commissioning steps before introducing water into the systems
\n| Get the As Mades from the PSMs (in parallel these files are delivered to the project engineer).
\n| Compare the hydraulic profile \u2013 designed Vs actual and verify pressures within the ranges of the installed piping and accessories
\n| Check that the As Made conforms with the design.
\n| Check the WTP activities and confirm that they were done properly
\n| Approve the acceptance check list before it is delivered from the PSM to the contractor
\n| Responsible to implement the lessons learned on each system to similar systems in other villages and keep the PM and PSMs informed about technical problems and improvements.
\n| Responsible for the lines washing and pressure tests for the first systems in each province,
\n| Commissioning of the first systems in each province
\n| Training the PSMs to perform the lines washing, tests and systems commissioning.
\n| Manage the punch lists of each village until it is fully covered and done.
\n| Hand over to the O&M and the local operators \u2013 incl. simplest operation manual (with photos).<\/p>\n
Work based in Angola<\/p>\n
Requirement:
\n| Mechanical engineer with hand-on experience of drinking water systems operation and commissioning (preferred in rural areas);
\n| Native Portuguese speaker and excellent English speaker (technical writing and speaking);
\n| Planning and managerial skills;
\n| Technical writing skills.<\/p>\n
